"Devo"

Devo is a Borzoi/Whippet cross. He came to us at the age of 9, through a Greyhound Rescue organization. Devo's original owner kept him for 8 years, and then left Devo with his room-mates to relocate, telling them he'd be back for Devo when he was moved into his new place. They never heard from him again. Devo went into separation anxiety, as the other room-mates had full-time jobs and he was now left at home alone all day. He proceded to eat their leather furniture and have "accidents" in the house routinely.
He's 10-and-a-half now, and is a model citizen, very well-behaved and clean in the house, and a beloved member of our little pack of hounds. He's very affectionate with us, and very playful with the other hounds, and a holy terror when it comes to chasing squirrels up a tree! |
